	The Reef Apartments Builder : Cleland's Construction Architect: Jackson Architects Year : 2004 Initial design and planning for this project began in early 2004 with the project being tendered in June 2004.
	The company was awarded the contract to carry out the complete electrical installation in July 2004. Being a high profile site with Penthouse apartments selling for in excess of $1.3m each, this would to be one of New Plymouths most sought after apartment developments. The standard of finish and level of fit out required was to a very high standard and required a large amount of coordination with other sub trades. The Electrical contract included separately metered supplies to each apartment and to the Body Corporate common area’s. The installation of all general power and specialist lighting to each apartment, common area’s including basement car park’s. An access control system was also installed with apartment owners having card access to both the car park area and main foyer entrance. Access control was also interfaced to the main lift controls and car park lighting. A master TV aerial system was installed including all free to air channels and Sky Satellite channels. Phone and data cabling was also installed through out the complex as part of the electrical contract. The project was completed on program in early 2005 and had involved a total of 2600 man-hours.
