Well known during construction as “Project Greenhouse” the new Port Taranaki Centre has set many new standards and achievements.

Awarded by the New Zealand Building Council a 5 star green rating is this building highest accolade. This achievement is a also a first for ICE Electrical Solutions taking on the challenge of complying to all the “green” construction standards set down for this project. 

“Green” requirements such as low energy, high frequency fluorescent lighting, solar water heating, intelligent air conditioning, non PVC and low VOC electrical cables & ducting and stringent waste management practices were some of the many standards required.

ICE Electrical Solutions also took on the responsibility of all mechanical services, data & phone, security, CCTV and emergency back up generator systems working with specialist sub contractors to provide an Integrated Electrical Solution.
